Buying stuff of the internet keeps getting more popular, a great innovation or just another reason not to get out your seat? When e-commerce just came around everybody was skeptical. People were afraid to get scammed, liked to see the actual product and didn’t really see the point. A couple of years after that, people even order their groceries over the internet.
Sometimes when I look out the window I see a complete truck with potatoes, sometimes a van filled with loafs of bread and other times a normal car with oranges. They all stop at the same address. Across the street there lives a woman who seems addicted to buying stuff online. Is this the way e-commerce was meant I wonder. If you want to, you do not neat to leave your house for anything you want.
The way I would like e-commerce to be used is for custom products. For example it could be used to customize your own shoe or even computer. The essence should be that you only buy products of the internet because you can’t get them in a store. If this is not the essence I believe stores will completely disappear and companies would sell their product exclusively online. I do not want to see the shops in the cities vanish. They just add too much to the atmosphere.
So the next time you order your potatoes while sitting in your lazy chair think about taking the bike for a five minute drive neighbor!

Is the internet contributing to the learning process of students? Everybody seems to agree on this matter and simply refer to all the information that can be found on it. I am still skeptical about this statement. For instance I am not that sure about how reliable the information is that the students get from the internet.
